Women's Programme
Many women experience abuse in their relationships with their husband, partner or family member. This abuse can be physical, emotional, verbal, sexual or financial.
Our Women's Programme is designed specifically for women experiencing abuse.

Living free
​
Our women facilitators are trained and authorised. They are experienced in working with issues that affect women's lives.

They offer skills and information relating to:

education

self esteem

self awareness

parenting
-
communication
-
stress management
-
support and information
and much more.

Who attends?
​
Women who ...
-
are currently in an abusive relationship and need support to make positive, safe changes in their lives
​
-
have been in an abusive relationship in the past and wish to heal from those experiences and not repeat them
​
-
grew up in an abusive household and would like to understand and grow.
​
Women of all ages, cultural backgrounds and walks of life can find help, support and encouragement in a confidential environment run by women for women.
How it works

it runs for 10 weeks

it runs throughout the year

a creche may be available

each group is run by two trained facilitators

each session runs from 9.30am to 12pm

individual programmes available in some circumstances
